iTour Voice Translator for Mac – User Guide
This guide provides a clear overview of how to install, set up, and use the translator on your Mac. From basic login steps to translation settings and subtitle export, follow the instructions below to make the most of your experience.
1. Installation
You can download the application locally from the following link:

System Requirement: macOS 12.0 or above.
Note: It is strongly recommended not to use a VPN during usage, as it may affect translation performance.
2. Logging In
2.1 Mobile/Email Login
- Click Account Login.
- Enter your mobile/email and password, then click Login
- For email login, switch to the Email Login tab first
2.2 Third‑Party Login
If the browser does not launch when clicking “Other Login Methods”:
- Ensure VPN is turned off
- If still unresponsive:
- Go to System Settings > Wi-Fi
- Select your network > Details > DNS
- Remove existing DNS entries and click OK ( Please follow the steps below to proceed. )
3. Audio Settings
Default setting uses system sound (ideal for meetings or calls). To capture real-life speech, change to Microphone under Settings > Audio Source.
To translate live speech or your own voice in offline scenarios, set the audio source to Microphone.
Note: Changing audio source will stop translation. Restart it manually after changes.
4. Translation Settings
The Mac version currently supports only: high-precision, standard, budget simultaneous translation, speech recognition, and minor language translation modes.
Settings also allow selection of language pairs, translation types, and server nodes.
5. Meeting App Integration
This section explains how to set up translation in commonly used meeting applications, including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Tencent Meeting. Instructions vary slightly depending on your macOS version. Please follow the relevant steps below to ensure the translator works properly during meetings.
5.1 Zoom Meetings
- macOS 13+: Start translation, accept permissions, and restart the app. ( Note: Translation must be enabled upon first use. When prompted, please grant the required permissions and restart the application for the settings. )
macOS <13: Set Speaker = Same as system in Zoom Audio Settings
- For systems below macOS 13.0, if no translation appears after enabling the feature, please follow the steps shown below to troubleshoot.
In the meeting controls, go to Audio - Speaker and select "Same as system"
5.2 Microsoft Teams
- On macOS 13.0 and above, enable translation directly. ( Note: The first time you enable translation, grant the required permissions and restart the app for translation to function properly.)
- On systems below macOS 13.0, if translation does not appear, refer to the troubleshooting steps shown below.
5.3 Tencent Meeting
- On macOS 13.0 and above, enable translation directly. ( Note: The first time you enable translation, grant the required permissions and restart the app for translation to function properly.)
- On systems below macOS 13.0, set the speaker to "System Default."

6. Screen Modes
This section explains how to ensure the translator works properly when using full-screen applications or multiple desktops on macOS.
6.1 Full‑Screen Mode
Full-screen apps may block the translator. Exit full-screen mode to continue using the app.
6.2 Multi‑Desktop Mode
- Switch to the desktop running Translator.
- Disable Always on Top & close overlay.
- Return to your main workspace and reopen the app.
7. Subtitle Tools
This section covers how to adjust subtitle display settings and export saved subtitles for review or sharing.
7.1 Subtitle Settings
Go to Settings > Subtitles to adjust:
- Display Mode: Bilingual / Recognition / Translation
- Font size: 16–32px or custom
- External Display: On/Off
- Font & background colors
7.2 Export Subtitles
- Subtitles and audio are saved automatically. You can export the required records by going to Settings > Subtitle Export.
- The subtitle export feature allows you to search, view, delete or batch delete, and export or batch export subtitle entries.
- Right-click on any subtitle line to view, rename, delete, or export it.
- Playback speed options are available for audio files
Reminder: To avoid data loss, please click "Stop Translation" when not in use. Force quitting the app may prevent subtitles or audio from being saved properly.
8. Terminology Customization
The Terminology Customization feature allows you to search, add, and delete terms. You can right-click any entry to edit its name or remove it.
9. Billing & Account
This section explains how to check your usage history and recharge your account.
9.1 Usage History
View usage records in Personal Center > Consumption History.
9.2 Account Recharge
Click Get Time or visit Personal Center > Recharge.
Note: If you see the message “Logged-in accounts do not match, Please switch to the correct account before recharging." It means the account logged into the Mac client is different from the one in the browser. To resolve this, log out from the web page by clicking the profile icon in the top-left corner, then log in using the same account as on the Mac client.
10. Speech Translation & Broadcast
Easily translate your speech in real-time and broadcast it to others. This section covers speech broadcasting, language settings, supported apps, playback options, and unsupported applications.
10.1 Initiating Broadcast
- Click the icon shown below to enter the feature page.
- Tap the center button or press the spacebar to begin translation
- The translated content is now being played to the other person.
10.2 Language Selection
Set input/output language (e.g., Chinese → English)
10.3 Supported Apps
This feature works only with meeting or chat software that allows microphone selection (e.g., Zoom, Teams). For example, in a Zoom meeting, configure the settings as shown below
10.4 Playback Settings
In Settings > Speech Translation, choose male or female playback voice (some languages offer only one option) and toggle the original audio on or off.
10.5 Unsupported Apps
Some applications such as Bilibili, WeChat, and iQIYI do not support speech recognition and translation features.
