T8 Translation Earbuds User Guide

Learn how to connect your T8 earbuds and use real-time translation, AI assistance, call translation, video translation, offline translation, and more.

Important: All translation features require the T8 Translation Earbuds to be connected before use.

1. Sign In

Open the iTourBuds App and sign in using a mobile verification code or WeChat login where available.

After successful login, proceed to connect your earbuds.

2. Connect Your T8 Earbuds

Step 1 — Start Connection

Tap Start Connecting on the app homepage.

Step 2 — Select Your Earbuds

If your earbuds are not connected, select iTour T8 when prompted.

Step 3 — Open Bluetooth Settings

Tap Go to Settings. Your phone will open the Bluetooth settings page automatically.

Step 4 — Pair the Earbuds

Find iTour T8 in your Bluetooth device list.
Tap to connect.
Wait until the connection is established.

Step 5 — Return to iTourBuds

Return to the iTourBuds app. When the device status shows Connected, all translation features are ready to use.

3. Features Overview

3.1 Conversation Mode

Ideal for multilingual conversations and face-to-face communication. Tap the translation button to automatically detect both languages, translate in real time, and display results instantly.

Your Language: The right button plays translation through your phone speaker. Playback is off by default and needs to be enabled manually.
Other Person's Language: The left button plays translation through the earbuds. Playback is on by default.

3.2 AI Chat

AI Chat can understand voice or text input and provide intelligent responses, assistance, and information instantly.

3.3 VOIP Call Translation

Make translated internet phone calls directly from the app. Currently supports phone numbers in the United States and Canada.

Incoming speech is translated automatically by default. To translate your own speech, tap the translation button during the call.

3.4 Listening Mode

Perfect for face-to-face conversations when you mainly need to understand another speaker.

Left Button: Recognizes the other person's speech, translates it, and plays the translation through the earbuds. Enabled by default.
Right Button: Recognizes your speech, translates it, and plays the translation through your phone speaker. Tap to enable.

3.5 Dual-Earbud Mode

Supports independent translation playback in each earbud. You can freely assign left and right translation channels and wear either earbud according to your preference.

By default, the left earbud plays the left-channel translation, and the right earbud plays the right-channel translation.

3.6 Audio-Video Translation

Translate audio from videos playing on your smartphone in real time. Suitable for TikTok, Youtube, online videos, and streaming content.

Important Notes:

Select the correct source language before translation.
System phone calls, WeChat, Facebook, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and other meeting or social communication apps are not supported.

3.7 Meeting Transcription

Meeting Transcription converts speech into text. It supports real-time transcription, note editing, drawing annotations, photo capture, and meeting records.

This feature records speech only and does not perform translation.

3.8 Video Call Translation

Send an invitation link through WhatsApp, WeChat, Skype or other supported platforms. The recipient opens the link, selects Join Meeting, and real-time translated communication begins.

This feature supports text chat, voice translation, and video translation.

3.9 Photo Translation

Capture text with your camera and translate instantly. Perfect for travel, restaurant menus, street signs, business documents, and product packaging.

On supported iOS devices, AI-powered translation can help improve translation accuracy.

3.10 Text Translation

Powered by advanced AI language models, Text Translation provides fast and accurate translation across 100+ languages. Some languages also support manual voice playback.

3.11 Offline Translation

Download offline language packs to continue translating when there is no internet connection or when the network signal is weak.

1. Offline Live Transcription

Recognizes speech and translates it into text in real time. Suitable for classes, lectures, presentations, and meeting notes.

2. Offline Conversation

Supports two-way real-time conversation translation without a network connection. Helpful for travel and low-signal environments.

3.12 Translation History

Translation History can record voice and text from supported features. Records can be summarized by AI, exported, and shared.

Conversation and real-time communication translation records do not support AI summaries.

4. Switching to a New Phone

4.1 Connect to Another Device

To pair the earbuds with a different phone, disconnect them from the current device first.

4.2 Remove Pairing

Go to Settings → Bluetooth → My Devices, find your T8 earbuds, then select Forget This Device on iPhone or Unpair Device on Android.

The earbuds are now ready to connect to another phone.
