How to Make Translation Phone Calls?

The iTourTranslator App allows you to make phone calls with real-time voice translation, making international communication easier and more efficient. Follow the steps below to get started:

1. Open the App

Launch the iTourTranslator App and go to the Home screen. Then, tap Call > Phone Call Translation.

2. Set Languages and Enter the Phone Number

• Select the two languages you want to translate between.
  - Choose the correct international dialing code.
  - Enter the number you wish to call.
  - Tap the [Call] button to start the translation call.

💡 Note: This is an internet-based call, so there’s no need to add the long-distance prefix "0".

3. Translation Settings During the Call

By default, only the other person’s speech is translated. To translate your own speech, tap the Translate button during the call.

3.1 🔊 Use Text-to-Voice When Pronunciation Is Unclear

If you're unsure about your pronunciation, you can type your message instead of speaking. The app will automatically play the message aloud to the other person.

3.2 ☎️ Dialing an Extension Number

When calling a bank, hotel, or similar service, you may need to dial an extension. Tap the keypad icon during the call to enter numbers as needed.

3.3  Translation Key Toggle (Default: On)

The Translation Key is enabled by default. Tap it to temporarily turn off translation. This is useful if you want to follow the original voice or if you already understand part of the language. When enabled, the other party’s speech will be shown as text on your screen.

3.4 💬 Use Preset Common Phrases

You can create and save common phrases based on different scenarios. During a call, tap a preset phrase to send and speak it instantly — improving your communication speed and clarity.
