Z50S Translation Earbuds User Guide

The Z50S Translation Earbuds are designed for real-time multilingual communication. To access all functions, the earbuds must be connected to the companion mobile app.


1. Login

  • 1.1 Mobile Number Login: Log in directly using your phone number and a verification code.
  • 1.2 Third-Party Login: When logging in via WeChat or similar platforms, you must first bind your phone number. After binding, you can use your number and verification code to log in.


2. Connecting the Earbuds

  1. Download the “iTourBuds” app from the App Store.
  2. Tap the [Start Connection] button in the app.
  3. If not connected via Bluetooth, a prompt will appear.
  4. Tap [Go to Settings], open your phone's Bluetooth menu, select Z50S Pro Max, and return to the app.

Note:

  • Simply download the “iTourBuds” app and connect your iTour earbuds. No subscription required—enjoy lifetime access to all features with a one-time purchase.
  • For first-time use, remove both earbuds from the case and pair them via your phone’s Bluetooth before using the app.
  • Once paired, the earbuds are bound to your account. They cannot be used by other accounts unless unpaired first. A warning prompt will appear if pairing fails due to binding.


3. In-App Features

Explore a full visual summary of all translation and communication tools built into the Z50S Pro Max.


3.1 Speaker Mode

One wears the earbud, one speaks into the phone—auto translation with continuous playback. Perfect for ordering food, asking for directions, and other everyday situations.

3.2 Deepseek

Ask questions using voice or text input for instant answers about daily topics and professional knowledge.

Supported Recognition Languages: Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean.
Other languages may not be recognized accurately.

3.3 VOIP Call Translation

Supports internet-based calls (VOIP) to US/CA numbers. By default, only the other party’s speech is translated. You may tap the translate button to also translate your own voice.

3.4 Listening Mode

Simply wear both earbuds to receive real-time translations, which are instantly played back through the earphones. Perfect for lectures, conferences, presentations, and more.

3.5 Audio Simultaneous Translation

Designed for real-time translation of audio or video content from platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. The translated text will appear as floating subtitles on your mobile device screen. Note: In this mode, translation of playback is not supported.

3.6 Dual Earbud Mode

Each person wears an earbud, and translation starts automatically when either speaks. Real-time translation enables hands-free communication—ideal for conversations,business  meetings, daily chat.

3.7 Meeting Transcription

This device provides real-time speech-to-text transcription, ensuring every spoken detail is accurately recorded. The integrated AI engine generates concise meeting summaries, highlights key discussion points, and allows users to insert comments or annotations within the transcript. Perfect for meetings, classes, and global teamwork.

3.8 Video Call 

The device supports real-time video call translation through popular social platforms such as WhatsApp, WeChat, and Telegram. To use this feature, simply send a chat invitation link via the chosen platform. The recipient can open the link directly in their browser to start a video call with real-time translation. No additional software download is required for the other party.

3.9 Offline Mode (Requires Download)

  • Offline Transcription: The device supports offline translation with 21 source languages and 57 target languages. This function allows you to communicate effectively without an internet connection, ensuring reliable translation anytime, anywhere.
  • Offline Conversations: The offline conversation mode supports 4 languages: Chinese, English, Japanese, and Korean. Making it ideal for travel, meetings, or daily conversations.

Note: You must be connected to the internet the first time to download language packs for offline use.


4. Unpairing the Earbuds

4.1 Account Binding

If the earbuds are paired with User A, User B will not be able to use them. To proceed, please unpair the earbuds and reconnect.

4.2 How to Unbind

Go to Phone Settings > Bluetooth Settings > Unpair Headset and tap [ Unpair ]. After unpairing, the earbuds can be paired with a new account.

  • Keep the earbuds fully charged before use.
  • Update firmware regularly through the app.
  • Speak clearly and avoid noisy environments for accurate translation.
  • Ensure the app is up to date for access to the latest features and languages.
